2025 will be different!

I've been too tolerant for too long, willing to make do with things as they are rather than change them. That will change in January and for my woolly hat, a long overdue change has already been made.

I bought the hat one winter when visiting Canada. It was warm, fitted my head, but had an annoying little badge sewn on to it. I never liked the badge, and whenever I wore it, wondered why I'd not bought another hat that did not irritate me quite so much.

Yesterday I asked my wife to unpick and remove the badge, which took her all of ten minutes. So after nearly 20 years of finding the hat annoying, now I can wear it without a second thought. Other things that annoy are also being dealt with. I've booked private medical treatment for a niggling problem I've lived with for too long. Why live with discomfort & inconvenience?

So 2025 is going to be a year when I'm going I'm going to get ahead, without having to buy a new hat!
